Our puppies are house raised. They are members of our family until they become a part of your family. We love each puppy dearly and want to make sure our puppies are matched with suitable owners. Puppy Parent Check List
We are excited that you are interested in adding an Irish Wolfhound to your family! IWs are AMAZING of course, and the reason why they are a BIG part of our lives. There are a few things that we want you to be aware of and to commit to before making the commitment of adding a puppy to your family and their forever home…
Puppy Terms:
- Our puppies leave here at 10 weeks of age. It is the perfect time for a puppy to go to their new home. My vet has done extensive research on the subject. She has gotten 3 from us so far 🙂
- Our puppies will have all required vaccinations for this area of upstate NY, dewormed, and microchipped.
- We do not liver shunt test our puppies as the test is not accurate until they are 16 wks of age per Cornell Veterinary University and Hospital in New York. If you have the puppy tested and there is a positive liver shunt result we will of course offer another puppy or refund. This is rare though.
- Our puppies will know how to use a dog door when they leave here. If you are diligent, house training should only take a few days. Irish Wolfhound puppies should only be crated for house training purposes and only for a few weeks. It is not healthy for a giant breed to be confined in a small space.
- Our puppies are sold limited registration for $2,500 total. (a $500 deposit is required after puppies are born and you know you will be getting one.)
You will be required to agree to and sign a contract with the below terms:

Buyer has paid the balance in full of $2,500 to Seller for the purchase of a healthy Irish Wolfhound puppy. Genetic health guaranteed for one year. If the Buyer cannot keep the puppy purchased, Seller will take the puppy back under all conditions.

Buyer agrees to submit the AKC puppy application provided by the Seller and to register micro chip number on same application within 30 days of purchase.

Buyer agrees not to spay or neuter purchased puppy until at least 2 yrs of age for the proper growth and continued good health of the puppy.
